Allana had the perfect outfit for this setting. Isn't she adorable? She was so sweet and loved to explore all the new things around her.
Allison came in for her first communion session and we had so much fun. She was a natural model and her portraits are absolutely stunning. Isn't she beautiful? We did some classic first communion shots with her and then we did some fun things too. See the picture below.

What can you say about these pictures of Cameron and Andrew. It was Camerons one year session but Andrew came along to get in some pictures too. These two have become a regular duo at Visual Image Photo. I may have to start putting them on the payroll.
Jace came in for his one year baby plan photo shoot so we got him a nice chocolate cake. I don't think he is to fond of chocoloate because as soon as we put the cake in front of him he started crying...go figure.

Brooklyn was not real happy to be taking a bath in our old wash basin, but she warmed up after a little coaxing by her mom.
6 month olds just have to have something to play with, so the beads and old hat go right to the mouth.
This is a 10x20 Composite I created for Tyler. I made it very dramatic by changing it to Black & White, and combining a few poses. This composite can also be made into a Desk Mount which displays nicely on any surface be it at home or the office.
Tyler came in for his session the morning after we all got back very late the night before from our weekend long conference in Dayton. Bill and I were so exhausted and wanted to take naps, I mean excited that he came in for his session! : D (we are only kidding of course!) We had a great time, so did his mom who came along to join his V.I.P. experience!
I just love this picture. Owen was so cute and he loved this little wagon. Doesn't he look angelic in this portrait? I'll bet he has a little devilish side to him sometimes, but we never saw it that night. He was a sweet, little guy and we had so much fun with him and his parents.
This is one of my favorites. Once again, doesn't he look so pure and innocent? And those striking blue eyes are beautiful. If you check out the website, you will be able to see just how blue his eyes really are.
Kurt and Kasie were so patient and we got some gorgeous images of the family. We also took some of just dad with Owen and just some of Kasie and Owen too. You have a beautiful family and we loved taking your pictures. We can't wait to see how much Owen has grown when you come back for you next baby plan session.
Look at how sweet and precious Aubrey looks. She was so adorable and wasn't too sure of these little chicks at first. She warmed up quickly. You can just look as see how ornry Aubrey is. She had on this beautiful Easter dress and was having a ball playing with all the Easter stuff. Marcie was so patient with Aubrey and with us as we worked to capture some stunning images of her kids. Wouldn't this make a fun Easter card?
Isn't she sweet? Aubrey was so cute. We made this image look almost as if it were painted. A bit like a Norman Rockwell Painting. Very classic and Aubrey was the perfect little one to use it on. Over the weekend, Bill, Jill, Gina & I went to an all weekend Photography Conference in Dayton, OH. We left on Friday, and came home very late on Sunday. It was held at the Convention Center, Downtown Dayton.
We had a chance to learn a lot of new ideas for business & marketing as well as some great styles of photography. We heard from popular speakers on computer technology, lighting, printing, weddings, babies, children, families, and seniors. The speakers are popular in our business, and from all over the country. I have listed their information below if you would like to see what they do. There was a Photo Competition, and a Trade show. We went to both of them. There was some really amazing Photos submitted into the Competition. The trade show featured many vendors, from all over the country. Some were Product Suppliers, Labs, Camera & Computer Equipment, & Promotional Products.
This was my first year attending, and I really learned a lot of new things that am definitely going to apply to my work. There were so many different seminars to go to, so we would spilt up, take notes and talk about what we had heard. So, when we would meet up for lunch or dinner, we had a chance to talk about all the new things.
We even purchased a new background that we are excited to use, so keep an eye out for a new background in our images! As nice as it was to go & experience something new, get out of town for the weekend, I was so grateful to be back home Sunday night to go home to my family, so was everyone else. We were all disappointed to hear about all the terrible rain that seemed to have hit home while we were away. The weather was great in Dayton! So, now we have some new information & ideas to apply to our work! : )
